An overnight nanny is exactly that. Usually it’s a nanny with broad knowledge and experience of all ages of children that has decided to watch infants overnight. Most of the time, they do not have the amount of continuing education / training as a NCS and will have less specialized experience with newborns and infant only care. Nannies can be great, and most NCS have lots of nannying experience before continuing their education. Just be sure to know what you are paying for when you hire an overnight nanny.
